Mr Inder Birdi

Mr Inderpaul Birdi is a Consultant Cardiac Surgeon working for both the public and private sector. He is a renowned surgeon in performing heart surgery and has a specialist interest in minimally invasive surgery, including keyhole surgery.

He qualified in Medicine in 1989 from the University of Nottingham, before developing a specialist interest in cardiac surgery through his training. He completed his training at The Royal Papworth Hospital and The Royal Brompton Hospital which enhanced his interest. To further satisfy his curiosity, he undertook fellowships for the Royal College of Surgeons in 1993 and 2002. A year later he took up his position as Consultant Cardiac Surgeon.

Mr Birdi has treated thousands of patients with heart disease. He can perform keyhole surgery, heart valve repair and replacement, coronary artery surgery, heart bypass surgery and many more heart procedures. Having gained more than 17 years of experience in minimally invasive surgery, he has delivered on accurate surgical techniques, demonstrated by excellent results in the long-term.
