Anaesthesia
Dr Hadi Bedran
MD FCAI FFPMRCA
I am a consultant anaesthetist with a special interest in anaesthesia for day case surgery, interventional pain medicine and medical education.
I graduated from Istanbul University with MD in 2003, and moved to the UK in 2004. I undertook my post-graduate training in anaesthesia and critical care at the teaching hospitals of Imperial College, London. During my training I acted as the trainee representative at the London Academy of Anaesthesia for two consecutive years. Following completion of specialist training in anaesthesia I then went on to complete a clinical fellowship in neuromodulation. I was appointed as a consultant in anaesthesia and pain management at St. George’s University Hospital, London in 2016 where I started the pain neuromodulation service which I led for five years. I was also the cancer pain liaison clinician at the same hospital, as well as being a mentor in regional anaesthesia and the college tutor for pain trainees.
In 2020, I moved to BMI Cavell Hospital where I am currently the lead clinician for anaesthetic pre-operative assessment. I have contributed to several published clinical papers and a book on pain management; in addition, I have lectured at national and international meetings. I am a regular faculty at a renowned pain interventional course, and I have received awards for undergraduate medical education and exceptional patient care.
We are a fast-growing group of experienced British clinicians in various specialties who have come together to work towards a singular goal of providing excellent healthcare in a private setup in the middle of London.
